Toolstead provides lightweight, locally hosted applications for specific tasks in everyday work — without a complex platform or elaborate infrastructure.
The applications consist of static web files and can be run locally or hosted on your own web server.
No. The applications do not require a server-side application or a database for basic operation.
Your data remains in your own environment. Content and configuration are maintained using the included Excel files and published as local application data.
Yes. Applications with Excel-based administration require the Microsoft Excel desktop application because the Publish function uses VBA.
Yes. Depending on the application, you can configure branding, colors, content, translations, images and other settings.
Yes. The applications are generally offline-capable. External links or connected services may still require a network or internet connection.
No. Toolstead applications do not include their own user management and do not require a login. Access to an application is controlled through the environment in which it is deployed. When published to a web server, for example, existing access protection or authentication mechanisms provided by the web server can be used.
One license covers one individual business or one legal entity. You may run multiple instances within that organization, for example for testing and production. Separate legal entities require separate licenses.
